You can meet or retreat here
Our facility at Kamp Kaleo
is perfect for meetings or
retreats. From our Discovery Center, you can meet in
comfort and watch the sun set across the North Loup
valley. Or you can stay in the Retreat House with a small
group and have simple living space and meeting space,
even your own small kitchen. If you like, we can arrange
motel space in Burwell, just two miles away. Or you can
be rustic and stay in one of our cabins. We can feed 80
people in our lodge. Our site has space for meetings large
and small, for personal retreats, for family reunions.

can join us at summer camp
Our summer camp program for the United
Church of Christ and for the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ) is built around welcoming
Christ's gentle, forgiving spirit in our midst. The
main hub of our summer program is Unit Camp, here a church sends
a troop of campers and their adult leaders: an outstanding way
of bringing the camp experience home. We also have Conference
Camps where each camper registers as an individual and meets
other church youth from around the state. We serve grades 2-12.

Kamp Kaleo, near Burwell, offers over 200 acres
of woods and grassland, over a mile of riverfront. Kamp Kaleo
offers meeting space and a place of quiet rest. Kamp Kaleo offers
friendly service, and does so in the midst of rural Nebraska.
