Utilizing the Spiritual Strategic Journey

One of the goals of the 2010 vision of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is the transformation of 1,000 current congregations.

Several years ago, the Regional Church appointed a team of Nebraska Disciple leaders to design a strategy to assist Nebraska congregations desiring to fulfill their God given potential. After exhaustive research, the team decided to enter into a covenant with George Bullard and the Columbia Partnership to train coaches and transformational leaders to guide and resource each congregation’s “Spiritual Strategic Journey”. Today we have an outstanding team of Disciple and UCC coaches who have been trained to assist pastors and congregations.

This strategy is an effective tool for congregational renewal because it is based upon prayerful discernment and builds upon each congregation’s strengths and the synergy that can occur when congregations network and challenge each other.
